A monthly pension of Rs. 1,000/- shall be provided to the families of members of the Tamil Nadu Non-Resident Tamils Welfare Board who died abroad due to unforeseen circumstances. The annual family income must not exceed Rs. 1.20 lakh.
Families of persons who went abroad on visit visas or non-employment purposes and died unexpectedly are not eligible for this monthly pension.
Individuals are not eligible to avail benefits under this pension scheme.
Beneficiaries must not be income tax payers.
Beneficiaries must not be receiving any pension under schemes implemented by the Central or State Government.
No family member should be employed in government service.
The beneficiary must be a dependent family member of the deceased.

Upon approval of your application, the funds will be disbursed to your bank account.
If you are eligible, you will receive the pension of Rs. 1,000/- per month.
