The 2023 edition of the "World Tamilar Diaspora Day," with the overarching theme of "Ulaguengum Tamil" took place on January 11th and 12th at the Kalaivanar Arena in Chennai. The event was organized under the guidance of the esteemed Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
Distinguished leaders from diverse nations graced the occasion as honored guests. Furthermore, executives from Tamil Sangha representing numerous countries actively engaged in discussions covering a wide array of topics. The event also featured a vibrant cultural program.
World Tamil Diaspora Day 2023 was celebrated with the theme UlagengumTamizh on 11.01.2023 and12.01.2023 at KalaivanarArangam, Chennai under the leadership of Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. In this function Hon’ble Human Resource Minister for Malaysia Mr. SivakumarVaradharaju; Hon'ble State Minister of Sri Lanka Mr. Arvinth Kumar; Hon’ble Governor of West New Britain Province, Papua New Guinea Mr.SasindranMuthuvel; Former Prime Minister of Guyana Dr Moses VeerasamyNagamooto; Former Interim President of Mauritius Dr.ParamasivamPillayVyapoory; Former Chief Minister of Sri Lanka Mr. SenthilThondaman; Former Minister of Malaysia Mr. Saravanan; Hon'ble Members of Parliament of Sri Lanka Mr. Sumanthiran, Mr. Mano Ganesan; Member of Riverton Electoral District, Western Australian Legislative Assembly Mr. Jagadish (Jags) Krishnan and other prominent Tamil leaders across the globe participated as special guests.
