Awareness Programmes
1.Various awareness programmes and training sessions have been conducted in the past few years to increase the awareness about the legal immigration in coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
2.These Awareness Programmes have been conducted across the State in various educational institutions such as colleges, polytechnics, and Government schools.

Two short films were made and they are being screened in Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV and the Publicity vans of the Public Relations Department of the State Government.

Training of Trainers
Training of Trainers (TOT) workshop for the welfare of migrant workers was conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu in co-ordination with the Ministry of External Affairs. Fifty two trainers were identified from all over the state and they were elaborately trained about the process of safe and regular migration.
